So very PROUD!

Molly and Luke had their 2nd appointment today at the dentist. After the first go around 6 months ago....to say I was dreading the appointment was an understatement! I was so worried about how Molly would react. I had no fears about Luke. He did awesome last time, but this time not so much. Not bad by any means, but just not his norm. I am thinking he may not be feeling that well. I still was very proud of him. He got his teeth cleaned and a fluoride treatment. Then the dentist gave the best news of NO cavities! YAY! She did say he has a major fracture in one of his molar teeth. It might need a cap put on it, but we will wait and see! Go Luke!

Now on to Miss Molly. This Mommy could not have been prouder! She got up in the chair by herself and let the hygienist do her job. There was no tears or resistance at all. I should have given her the benefit of the doubt after how well she did at her 3 year old check, but I didn't. I even asked them to do Luke first, so she would see that it would not hurt. That kind of backfired on me, so I didn't think she would do it. Boy did she prove me wrong. So glad she did. She too got a great report! So happy for NO cavities!

That's great! I remember you saying what a tough time Molly had at that last appointment. I'm so glad that this one was much better. And YAY for no cavities! :o)

Love the sunglasses!! My daughter hasn't seen a dentist yet, but I suppose she really ought to now that she is two. Heck, she hasn't ever had a haircut before, either!

That is great! I have a feeling our first visit won't be as smooth... I guess that is why I am dragging my feet in making it!

I am so proud of Molly, and SO, SO happy for you!!! I remember how traumatic that last dentist visit was for you all, and then the work that Molly had to have. I know you are praising the Lord for such a good report. :) :)

First, those shades are awesome!!!!

Second, am I supposed to take my kids to the dentist??? Why has this never dawned on me?

Third, no cavities = awesome!

Fourth, a cap? For a baby tooth??? That's craziness!

Yay! Great job! My 4 have always loved the dentist...it could be the nifty "toy" (junk toys) box they got to pick from after...ot the individual attention! lol The sooner they go, the more fearless they will be. I'm 42 and still CHICKEN. I love the pictures on your blog, too!
