Linking up with Twinfatuation Way Back When-esday. Thanks Cheryl for letting me play along!
This 1st family photo was taken by one of Molly and Luke's NICU nurses Carrie on March 22nd 2008. That would make them 5 weeks old! I wonder if she would even remember us?!?! I know I will never forget her!
Not only did she take our first family photo....she also took the first photo on me holding both my babies at the same time! I still remember that feeling today! It was so surreal!
Can you see the joy and pride in my eyes! :)
These 2 pictures show how tiny they still were. Luke had just moved to an open crib! If my memory serves me right I think they had to weigh 3.5 pounds before they would test to see if they could hold their body temperature. Molly was still in a isolette. That is why she still did not have any clothes on.
This is how we found Molly that morning. The nurse swore she was on her back when she last checked her. Somehow Molly had flipped over and buried her head in her snuggly. I didn't
understand why the monitors weren't going off!! Well she must have felt our presence because
at that very moment the monitors sirens started blaring!
Mr. Luke looking all handsome wearing clothes for the first time! This was a preemie sleeper that hung on him still!

Makes My Monday
Linking up with Cheryl at Twinfatuation! Thanks so much Cheryl for letting me play along! Happy Monday everyone!!!
I am so looking forward to seeing green grass under Molly and Luke's feet again! I can't wait for them to be able to play in the sun every day! Last week was so nice, but over the weekend it didn't get over 50!
These 2 pictures were taken when Molly and Luke were around 15 months old. Getting so close to Summer play time totally Makes My Monday!

"ME" Challenge - Week 12
Linking up with Dolli-Mama's "ME" time challenge! It is so hard to believe 12 weeks have passed since accepting this challenge!
I am pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair. I keep it long, so I don't have keep up a style. Been there done that...just don't have the time or patience for the every 6 week appointments. I have never colored my hair either, which I probably won't have that option for very much longer unless I eventually want to become a silver fox (husbands words). Call me what you must, but just think of the money saved by only having my hair cut 2 times a year! Well last Saturday was one of those times. I love getting my hair done. Having someone else wash and style my hair is awesome. It is so relaxing! Thanks Mom for watching Molly and Luke so I could have that pampered treatment.

For me??? Yes, you!!! And your welcome too!!!
I received this pretty bloggy award from Jenner at Jennerally Speaking! She is the mother to an adorable 2 year Old girl....better known as Peapod! :) She also is the mother to many furry babies! :) Thank you so much Jenner for sharing this award with me! It made my day and put a smile on my face!
To accept this award I need to first list 5 fun facts about myself....O.K. maybe not fun, but just facts! I am going to list the first 5 things that come to my mind. Here we go....
1) I am obsessed with anything reality! I love reading true stories and watching reality T.V.. My favorite reads are those about people who have triumphed over tragedy (death, prematurity, Heath issues, ect....). My favorite watches are anything with DRAMA! ;-) I don't mind drama as long as it is no where near me IRL.
2) Huge Control Freak!!! Shhhh...don't tell my hubby I admitted to that! I have major anxiety when I feel helpless. I need to know the when, where, why & how at all times! I think this has escalated since having my babies! I am working on it because before long they will be in preschool! I will have no control during those hours! Please GOD keep me sane!
3) I am a neat freak, but have a junk drawer and closet! Those 2 places can be as messy as they please and it doesn't bother me for a second.
4) I am terrified June bugs and spiders! I just got goose bumps typing this! They scare the
brown stuff out of me!!! Can you say YUCK?!?!
5) I have never tried ice skating! Random I know, but it just came to mind! I think that may need to be put on a list to do in my lifetime! :)
Thanks again Jenner! That was fun! I now get to pass it on to 5 other bloggers. Listed below in no particular order!
Amy @ This Crazy Life
Holly @ Twins Plus One, Three Times the Fun!
Mandy @ My life as described by Twin
Trials and Triumphs
Sara @ Moms need time outs too!
Renae @ Reanbean on matters of motherhood!
BTW- if you didn't recognize my title from something is it from a song sung on Yo Gabba Gabba.

Way Back When-esday
Linking up with Twinfatuation Way Back When-esday. Thanks Cheryl for letting me play along!
This is a picture that Molly and Luke's primary nurse Amanda took of my baby boy on his 2nd night of life. I was just telling someone the other day that it is hard to remember how small my babies really were. I see full term babies that weigh 7 pounds and they are so tiny to me. How in the world could I forget what it was like to hold my babies in the palm of my hand? Craziness I tell you! We are so very blessed that we are dealing with no prematurity issues 3 years later!

Make's My Monday - Dear Hubby Style
Linking up with the lovely Cheryl at Twinfatuation! Thanks so much Cheryl for letting me play along! Happy Monday everyone!!!
Tomorrow, Tuesday the 22nd will be my 14th wedding anniversary! Happy Anniversary to the BEST daddy and husband in the world! Todd and I always knew we wanted children we just didn't know when. We were married for 8 years before we decided it was time to grow our family from 2 to 3. Never in our wildest dreams would we have thought the next 3 years would be the hardest 3 years of our life/marriage. We were just like numerous others that were naive to think getting pregnant was the easy (& fun ;-)) part of having children. Boy were we wrong. It's kind of
funny to think of how much money we spent over the prior 10 years preventing something that a
miracle would have had to happen to occur. The first year of trying was fun and adventurous!
We weren't to worried just anxious. Every month AF came it beat us down a little more every month Finally we decided to get help. Todd was always my rock. Nothing ever bothered him. He never had any doubt we would be parents someday. Here we are 6 years later with beautiful 3 year old twins! I couldn't (and I wouldn't) have done it without him. Thank you Todd for being my rock through the most difficult
time of our life's! We have been through a lot and I am sure we have a lot more to come, but
there is no doubt in my heart we can get through it together! Now here is why my husband
totally makes my Monday!
It took him 7 days to build this fort-swing set for Molly and Luke. He worked all weekend and every evening until it was done. I never heard anything other than excitement to get done, so he could show it off to his kids!
The joy I see in his eye's talking about his children is priceless! There is no doubt in my mind he would do anything and everything for them. I like to think nobody could love them the way I do, but I think he would differ. I wouldn't want it any other way!
My family is beautiful in my mind! That's all that matters!

"ME" Challenge - week 11
Once again I was a loser last week and missed another link up! I actually did do a couple a ME things last week.
1) Went to lunch last Friday with a dear friend from work. We went to this tiny, one of kind place called Saturn Grill. I love eating there because you actually can eat healthy! I got the skinny chick and salad. I went with the fresh fruit and spinach salad. It was yummy!
2) I received a nice little special email from Kolh's saying they just remodeled the women's department, so here is $10.00 off your next visit. You would have thought they just gave me $100.00 because I went there the very next day!!! I love Kolh's! I always spend way too much time/money, but it really is a one stop shop! Best thing is they were giving $10.00 Kolh's cash for every $50.00 you spent that weekend! Now I have an excuse to tell DH why I have to go
back so soon, free money to spend! I ended up getting a swimsuit, swim coverup, capri's, and
summer tops.
As for this week my ME time will happen tomorrow. I will post about it next week!
I hope everyone has a fantastic, sunny weekend!
Thanks so much Dolli-Mama for helping me remember my ME time!

Way Back When-esday
Linking up with Twinfatuation Way Back When-esday. Thanks Cheryl for letting me play along!I really am enjoying going through Molly and Luke's old photos. It brings back so many memories! Thanks for helping me remember to take the time to journey back in time! It makes for very fun times!
I know I just posted pictures of Molly and Luke in their cute puppy dog towels last Wednesday, but I came across these bath photos taken 2 years ago. This is one of my favorite pics of Luke! Have you ever seen a sweeter baby boy?!?!? Alright I know you have because you have sweet babies of your own! Unless you only have girl(s)......then you can say it's the sweetest baby boy you ever seen! lol!
Here is my sweet baby girl! Bless her heart this was before she grew her pretty curls! I used to wonder if she would ever have enough hair for bows! :)

Makes My Monday - Spring Style
Linking up with the lovely Cheryl at Twinfatuation! Thanks so much Cheryl for letting me play along! Happy Monday everyone!!!
What better way to bring in spring than Miss Molly trying on Daddy's flip flop's. Her tiny size 7 toddler feet in her daddy's men size 9 1/2 shoes is way too cute! I remember wearing my daddy's shoes as a little girl! I vividly remember a pair of his flip flops he kept by the back door. Memories!
Then getting this great smile when I asked her about it totally makes my Monday!

Sunday Senses
Linking up with the lovely Rebecca at Unexplained X2.
Sight - Cuticles in desperate need of a manicure. Speaking of, need a pedicure just as bad.
Feel - very , very tired. Why does one hour make such a big difference and why does it take weeks to feel like your body has adjusted? Daylight saving is for the birds!
Taste - Wheat crackers and cheese...easy , yummy lunch don't you think?
Hear - Miss Molly asking me for the 50th time when we are going bye- bye. Spring fever I tell you.
Smell - Lysol - Just finished cleaning the bathroom.
What are your Sunday senses? Go link up with Rebecca!

Beautiful Park Day
This video cracks me up. My Mom and I took Molly and Luke to a park to have lunch and play today. Needless to say this slide was a little to big and fast for them. You will have to excuse my annoying laughter in the background, but I promise you would have laughed too.
Luke loves to play on tire swings.
Have you ever seen a Barney at the playground? Me neither...until now. :)
Before they could go down the slide they had to climb up in this rocket. This is Luke saying "Hi Mommy!".
Of course, Sissy had to too!

So very PROUD!
Molly and Luke had their 2nd appointment today at the dentist. After the first go around 6 months ago....to say I was dreading the appointment was an understatement! I was so worried about how Molly would react. I had no fears about Luke. He did awesome last time, but this time not so much. Not bad by any means, but just not his norm. I am thinking he may not be feeling that well. I still was very proud of him. He got his teeth cleaned and a fluoride treatment. Then the dentist gave the best news of NO cavities! YAY! She did say he has a major fracture in one of his molar teeth. It might need a cap put on it, but we will wait and see! Go Luke!
Now on to Miss Molly. This Mommy could not have been prouder! She got up in the chair by herself and let the hygienist do her job. There was no tears or resistance at all. I should have given her the benefit of the doubt after how well she did at her 3 year old check, but I didn't. I even asked them to do Luke first, so she would see that it would not hurt. That kind of backfired on me, so I didn't think she would do it. Boy did she prove me wrong. So glad she did. She too got a great report! So happy for NO cavities!

Makes My Monday
Linking up with Cheryl at Twinfatuation! Thanks Cheryl for letting me play along!
I walked into the playroom the other day to find Luke here! Does this remind you of anything? I know it doesn't really look like it at all, but the first thing that popped into my head was E.T.. You know the closet scene when E.T. is hiding in stuffed animals!
Then Molly saw that I was giving Luke attention for doing something he really shouldn't be doing, so what does she do?!?! Climbs up on the kitchen so I could give her some love too! Silly girl!

Sight- The sun shining through the windows. In which shows all the dust that needs cleaned off the furniture.
Feel- Hairy legs in desperate need of shaving! This is one of my husbands pet peeves!
Hear- Hubby sneezing and snorting! Spring is in the air! :)
Smell- Nothing yet, but I forsee smelling barbecue in the near future.
Taste- nothing, but see above. :)
Hope everyone has a great week! Thanks Rebecca for letting me play along!
A little girl named Lucy!
I came across this blog today. This sweet family has had their life turned up side down just 2 weeks ago. They could really use your thoughts and prayers. I do not know this family nor do I know anyone that knows does. I still feel the need to ask for prayers. I love her name. It is one of the names we considered for Miss Molly.

Bouncy Party
Just because this is one of my favorite's I put it first. I love that I now have a picture of me sliding with Molly! I got one with Luke a while back, so now they both have a picture sliding with their Mommy! Thanks Mandy for pointing out the importance of that!
Not the best picture of Luke, but it does show his cute 3 birthday shirt! It looks like he may be standing on a picnic table! That silly boy!
Luke checking out the foosball table!
Little Miss Molly playing house! Why oh why would you be playing house when there is so much more to do?!?! Both her and Luke liked this house. I think we need one, but Daddy needs to be talked into it!
Here is a picture of the cupcakes! Don't worry there was another box that had more blue ones! :)Luke didn't get shorted!
Just a warning these pictures are all over the place. I uploaded them to blogger in no order what so ever. The next 3 were taken after jump time. This is the pizza/cupcake party! Luke wasn't feeling good, so he didn't eat a bite of anything. Molly was too worked up to stop to eat. I hope everyone else enjoyed it!
Molly and Luke received some really cool presents! They had a ball opening them up!
This is Molly and my niece Averie. Molly and Averie love playing together! Too sweet!
Bubby still trying to check everything out! :)
Here is a group picture! Not all the kids are it. Todd also had to hold Luke, so he would sit still.
All in all it was an awesome party! It was very fast paced, so I didn't get to visit with everyone. That is my only regret, but hopefully everyone had an awesome time.
