"ME" challenge - week 9

Photobucket

I am so glad to play along this week! I could not think of one thing I did for myself last week! I actually have 3 things this week, so really I could say this counts for week 8 & 9.

1) I had to run a fast errand at lunch today, so I picked up a gossip magazine in the checkout line. I went back to work shut my office door, ate my lunch and read the gossip magazine! I had 30 minutes of total "ME" time!

2) Todd and I went to dinner tonight. We went to our favorite sushi place! It was delicious! We really enjoyed ourselves!

3) After dinner Todd took me to get my valentine's gift. Better late then never, right? I (finally) talked him into getting me a iPhone 4!!!! So very excited and happy! My iPhone 3 wasn't cutting it! There was a time not very long ago that I said I would never spend the extra money for iPhone service, but I am so glad I gave in. It is
totally worth it! I love my iPhone.

Thank Dolli-Mama for helping me remember my ME time!

I hope everyone has a fantasic weekend! Take care! :)

Some days I'm so happy to be a working mom simply for the 10-15 minutes I get to spend in silence on my lunch break! Don't get me wrong, there are days I want to be home too, but I never take those few minutes of peace for granted! Glad you got in that ME time - it really is important! :)

I love your magazine time! I used to buy one of those when I had a long flight for work...it's so easy to completely zone out reading one of those, and I figured the office owed me that with my rigorous travel schedule...HA!

These days I'll catch Chelsea Lately from time to time...a very similar experience. :)

So glad you enjoyed your dinner, too! Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

I'm a total mac girl, I can appreciate your love of such a wonderul product! LOL

And can I just say that you I am jealous of your dinner date? The hubs doesn't eat anything I love so we eat are always stuck eating places where he'll be able to eat. If I could go back and re-train him, I'd totally change his diet!
