"ME" Challenge - Week 12

Linking up with Dolli-Mama's "ME" time challenge! It is so hard to believe 12 weeks have passed since accepting this challenge!

I am pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair. I keep it long, so I don't have keep up a style. Been there done that...just don't have the time or patience for the every 6 week appointments. I have never colored my hair either, which I probably won't have that option for very much longer unless I eventually want to become a silver fox (husbands words). Call me what you must, but just think of the money saved by only having my hair cut 2 times a year! Well last Saturday was one of those times. I love getting my hair done. Having someone else wash and style my hair is awesome. It is so relaxing! Thanks Mom for watching Molly and Luke so I could have that pampered treatment.

There's nothing like having some pampering time! Glad you enjoyed it.

Oh, how nice! I also only get my hair cut 2 or 3 times a year, but I always look forward to those appointments. Because my hair is so strangely curly (tight, tight curls in the back with longer loose curls on the sides), my hair dresser has to cut my hair dry. I was so bummed about missing the shampoo and scalp massage, so now she washes it after she cuts it. It was cheaper when I just got the cut without the wash, but the scalp massage is definitely worth the extra dough. :o)

I am with you! I don't color my hair, and I only get it cut a couple of times a year.

Sounds like you had a great time! Thank you for linking up!

I'm glad you had a good time! I don't make it in to get my hair done nearly as often as it could probably use to get cut...but boy...isn't it crazy how RELAXING it is to get your hair done. It's relatively quiet, has some adult conversation, and you walk out the door looking fantastic. Not a bad way to spend 30 minutes! ; )
