Luke has always had an obsession with drawing. Whether it be with Crayolas, pencils/pens or a drawing tablet. We have been trying to show him how to draw a circle and add eyes, nose & a mouth. Here recently I have seen his drawing tablet with a pretty good smile face on it. I asked Todd if he had helped Luke make it and he told me no. Still not so sure I didn't think much more about until today. I was in their play room with them playing. Luke sit at his activity table with his tablet. While he was drawing I heard him say circle, eyes, nose and mouth! To my surprise this is his art work. He ran out of room for the body, so that is it off to the side. Call me a crazy proud mommy, but I think this is pretty darn good for a 3 year old! Am I crazy? What do you think? You see it too, right?

3 year well child (baby) check
Molly and Luke had their well child check today! Picture of them before we left!
I was a little afraid of how the appointment would go. The 2 year appointment was horrible! Molly did not cooperate at all! She cried the entire time! Not fun at all! This time was the best visit yet! Both Molly and Luke did everything the nurse and Doctor asked! It was great! I was so very proud! All and all it was a great report. Molly still has a heart murmur, but we knew she had one when we left the NICU. But at that time it was due to having a VSD due to prematurity. The cardiologist released her at 1 year. Basically saying they did nothing for
them anyways and her's probably would close by 2. As I mentioned before at Molly's 2 year old
appointment she was crying to hard to get a good listen, so really this was the first time her heart has really been heard good since she was a year old. Good news is the doctor said the murmur did not sound like a VSD murmur, so more then likely her VSD closed. These are her exact words.....Now listen to me when I tell you this.....Miss Molly has a heart murmur, but it is nothing to worry about. It is completely normal. She said we will see how she sounds at
4. Not that any mommy wants to hear her child has abnormality, but if the doctor says not to worry about it...I won't.
I also brought up my concern with Luke's speech being behind Molly's. She said at this point she sees no concern, but is very proactive on speech delays. She asked us to give it 4 to 6 months. We need to start making sure he watches our mouths when we are speaking to him. Reason being I know he is talking a lot more then we can understand. His mouth is not forming the words right. So that is what we will do and reassess in a few months. She also said most generally boys are behind girls in that department.Time will tell.
I feel very blessed to have very healthy children! God is so very good!
3 year old stats
Molly
Weight-34lbs-(75-90%)
Height-3ft2in-(75%)
Luke
Weight-31lbs-(50%)
Height-3ft1in-(25-50%)
We went to the mall after their appointment and it took no time for Luke to do this! He has started sleeping with his arms behind his head ! Too funny!
I promise to post about their bounce party ASAP. I am still waiting to receive the picture disc in the mail! I am so excited to see the pictures! The only picture I took with my camera is below! Luke did not like that I wanted to take a picture of him sitting still! Poor boy!

Way Back When-esday
Linking up with Twinfatuation Way Back When-esday.
I can't believe I posting these pictures! My DH just may divorce me for it! JK - I hope! :)
These make me laugh every time I stumble across them. I am pretty sure I told Todd I deleted them. ;-)
First glance you may think Molly had a friend over for a swim, but take a closer look! What do
you see?!?!

It's Bubby!
Please tell me I am not a horrible mommy for sharing! Or better yet that I am not a horrible
mommy for putting the bathing suit on him and then taking a picture! :)
Dear Luke, I am so sorry I used you for my amusement that day a little over a year ago. I promise you didn't care! Love, Mommy
btw- when I was putting this post together I showed the picture to Luke and he told me it was sissy! I said no it's Bubby! He proceeded to say no it's sissy! Too funny!

Very Honored.....indeed!
I feel very honored to accept this award from Holly Ann from Twins Plus One, Three Times the Fun! Like me she is the mother to 3 year old B/G twins! Plus she is blessed with a 1 year boy! I love reading her blog daily! She is very real. She too is a working Mom, so we can relate on how to juggle a full time job and plus a being a full time MoM. We both are blessed to have very active husbands in the child raising department. Boy does that help in the day care costs! Thank you Holly for giving me my very first blog award! It means a lot to me! How ironic it is that this is my 200th post! I couldn't ask for a better way to celebrate! :)
Step 1 in the rules for accepting this award state that I am to share seven things about
myself with you.
1) My blog has really always been devoted to Molly and Luke, so you probably wouldn't know that I have 1 sister, 3 half brothers and 1 step-sister. My parents divorced when I was 3, so I have a very large family! My youngest brother is 13 and I will be 35 in June. Kind of crazy!
2) I was a blog stalker for about a year before my husband talked me into starting one myself! So glad I did.
3) I never wanted to be a SAHM until it was time to return to work, but I think I am a great working Mom. I think it takes a very special person to be a SAHM. I really truly believe that my job is easier then it would be if I stayed at home! Not that I wouldn't do it in a heartbeat! Enough said!
4) I am a realty show addict! Love, love watching real life drama! Call me crazy!
5) The best time of the day for me is walking through the door at night after work and hearing Molly and Luke scream mommy in delight! Getting those welcome home hugs and kisses are the very best!
6) I still live in the city and state I was born in!
7) my husband named our kids because I was too sick too care. That may sound awful, but it is the truth! Don't get me wrong I loved and agreed, but he did the research to find them!
Step 2 states that I am to pass this award on to 15 other blogs I love. Here they are in random order:
1) Mandy at Hoping for Hoberts - infertility to pregnancy and BEYOND! She is the mother to 19 month old twin girls! This Mommy is better known at Susie.....as in Susie home maker! She is amazing! I wish I had a quarter of
her talent!
2) Emily at The Warren Family. She is the mother to a 13 month miracle names Emma Claire. EC was born at 25 weeks gestation and is doing wonderfully! I love reading Emily's weekly updates! EC just took off crawling last week! :-)
3) Renae at Reanbean - On matters of motherhood! She is the mother is G/B twins a month younger than mine, so we too have a lot in common. One thing we don't have in common is this poor girl has snow on the ground 4 to 5 out of the year! Bless her heart! It really has been a inside joke between the 2 of us! She is to sweet to tell me, but I know when she reads my posts about snow being on the ground for a few days she so totally wants to call me a baby! Right, Renae? ;-)
4) Dolli-Mama at Life not finished. She is the mother to an adorable little boy and 8 month old twin girls! I have enjoyed reading many of her heartfelt posts! She also challenged me to a 52 week Mama getting her groove back. It has opened my eyes to even the small things I was taking for granted. If you haven't played along you should check it out!
5) Rebecca at Unexplained X2. She is the mother to the cutest B/G twins! I have never seen opposite sex twins look so much alike! They are adorable! To say Rebecca is a talented writer is an understatement! She has a gift (don't
worry I warned her I was not a obsessed stalker). She gives me my much needed daily laugh! She is not afraid to write what everyone else s thinking!
6) Mandy at My life as described by
twin trials and triumphs. I love reading Mandy's post about her extremely sweet and darling
twin girls! I just told her the other day how their little faces just make me say awwww. Mandy is also a very talented writer! She is the one that introduced me to a lot of the blogs I follow! I once told her I think we may be long lost relatives because we share a lot of the same OCD issues! (sorry Mandy hope you don't mind)
7)Heather at Mommy to Livie and
Maddie. She is the mother to sweet 4 year old twin girls! It is fun reading her posts to see where I will be in another year!
8) Heather at Life as we know it with two
twinkies and a tater tot. Heather is also a working mother. She has an adorable boy and sweet twin girls. She had her girls at 29 weeks gestation, so we also have that in common. Just like
Molly one of her girls came home on oxygen. This makes us share one of the very best feeling
in the world...the day the oxygen tanks got picked up from our house!
9)Jamie at The Southern Babies. She is the Mother to triplets. One angel boy in heaven and a boy and girl here on earth. They are adorable and they are 6 months older then mine. I really enjoy reading her weekly updates on her daughter Lindy's progress and her son Will. They are miracle babies born at 25 weeks!
10) Mandy at Blue eyed life. Mandy is the the mother to a cute little boy and adorable twin boys! Really...these boys are sweet! She is very new to the bloggy world, but I have enjoyed her posts so far!
11)Tracey at The Trousdell five. She is the mother to a sweet little girl and adorable twin boys! She writes with her heart and it is very beautiful to read. Her boys were born at 26 weeks gestation. Another set of miracles!
12)Beth at Beth, Will, Rod and the
quads. I think the title says it all! This mother deserves 5 awards. I enjoy reading how she handles everyday life with 5 kids!
I know I am stopping at 12, but bed time is calling. Yes, I could wait and finish tomorrow....but that is one of my OCD's. Always finish what you started! There are so many blogs I follow and love to read! I am so happy I found this outlet!
Congratulations Everyone!

A week of goodies and fun!
As I mentioned before on Valentines day Molly and Luke helped me make their cupcakes! They had a ball! This is something I really haven't involved them in before....I always dreaded the extra mess I would have to clean up, but after seeing the joy in their eyes it was totally worth it. If you haven't done this with your kids I totally recommend you do it! It was fun.
On their B/D we started a new tradition. All 4 of us had a ball doing that! That evening they opened presents from Mommy and Daddy and the ate the cupcakes they made the night before. They blew out their 3 candles and loved the chocolate icing! Luke about looked like he did on his first birthday! Silly boy!
Thursday evening Todd's parents (Nana & Papa) and Grandma (GG) came over to bring Molly and Luke their B/D presents. Molly wanted to be a butterfly that evening! She is so silly! They got a new craft table and some T.V. OSU lounging chairs! They love them!
btw- a little fun note about Molly. As soon as I started telling her we were having a birthday party she has been asking for a party hat. Well as you see in the above photos I got her a party hat! That makes for a very happy birthday girl!
I can't wait to share the fun we have today! I hope everyone a a fantastic Saturday! I hope it is a sunny one for you! :)

ME challenge - Week 7
I have had a pretty busy week with the twins birthday being Tuesday. It has been a very fun, exciting, fast, busy, and a little depressing of a week! This weekend I will get a post together on the small party the 4 of us had on their actual B/D. Then last night Nana, Papa, and GG came over to bring Molly and Luke's their birthday presents from them. Then tomorrow is the big indoor jump party! So very excited about that! Anyways....I was a little worried that I didn't do anything for me this week, but then I remembered I did! My friend Brandi at work asked me to join her for lunch yesterday! We had a nice catch up visit. You see, she used to be in my direct group until this month. She still is in the same department, but different groups. She and I are a lot of like in so many ways that I feel like I can totally be ME around her. I don't sugar coat or tell half stories.....it is all about being real. I love talking with her! So that was my ME time! What was your ME time this week? Thanks so much Dolli-Mama for helping me take the time to remember my ME time every week!

A very grand day , indeed!
Thanks everyone for your sweet birthday wishes! Molly and Luke had a super birthday! I was actually able to leave work at 2:30, so I picked up them and DH for a surprise! I wanted to start a birthday tradition with them (now that they can understand). I took them to toy r us to pick out anything they wanted (of course within reason). Sorry for these poor quality photos, but they are phone pics.
So little Miss. Molly had to have this giraffe to go with her elephant that she also couldn't live without! This may sound awful, but I hate stuff animals! They take up resourceful space! Please notice that not only did she have to have the big one, but the baby had to come too!
Little Mr. Luke picked out a kids home depot screw driver and drill! Maybe he can fix some of the damage he and his sister have caused around the house! My little handyman! :)
I will share more from the day later! Need sleep!

Happy Sweetheart Day!
The below picture was taken on Valentine's day 2009. I know they aren't dressed very valentine like, but don't they still look cute?!?!
The two below pics were taken on Valentine's day 2010. Molly got some princess shoes from her valentine. Both Luke and Molly were trying them out for the first time. Daddy still hates this picture of Luke! I thinks it's cute and it's the price Luke will pay for having a twin sister when all these pictures come out for girlfriends years from now!
I hope everyone has a Happy Valentine's Day! I think we will celebrate by baking Molly and Luke's Birthday cake today for tomorrow nights party! Yea!

Sunday Senses
Linking up with the very talented Rebecca from Unexplained X2! You should too! Thanks Rebecca!
Sight - O.K. This is not in plain sight, but in my mind sight....Molly and Luke's birthday presents that need wrapped! There was a time in my life that I enjoyed wrapping. Why, I don't know?!?! I would make the package look as pretty as the treasure inside! Those days are long gone! Now my main objective is to make sure the object is covered up. Enough said!
Hear - The Fresh Beat Band...another joy of Molly and Luke's. They love music! Molly loves to dance! She gets going so fast that she usually falls a couple of times! Bless her heart hopefully she looses that trait! :) Luke is pretty darn cute to watch...he bounces with his knees and swings his arms! Pretty funny!
Feel - I am starting to feel a little sad about my babies turning 3 in 2 days! I have said it before and will say it again.....how in the world has 3 years gone by so very fast?!?! This means preschool is right around the corner! Don't get me started on that one. That brings a whole other type of sadness on.
Taste - I just happened to brush my teeth, so cinnamon burst crest. I know so exciting, Right?
Smell - Hawaii Coconut B&BW lotion. Yes, it smells heavenly! It will go so well with 63 degrees it is supposed to get today!
Hope everyone has a great week and Happy Sunday! Take care!

Nannie's Special Day
Since Molly and Luke's birthday falls on Nannie's day off next week she had her own little party with them yesterday! Their 2nd B/D fell on her day last year. I guess she enjoyed it so much that she wanted to do it again! Unfortunately their big day falls at a very busy time of the month at work for me. So I love that she made their actually day last year special! This year Todd and I will have a special party with them that evening after I get home from work.
Granddad came over at lunchtime to bring lunch! Then Nannie topped off the party with some yummy cupcakes!
My niece Kayla and her boyfriend stopped by too! Molly and Luke are so very blessed to have so many people that adore them! They are loved and spoiled by so many!
These 2 pictures were taken today on 2 of the awesome new toys they received! Notice I also put them in red to get in the Valentine spirit! Poor babies almost have to share heart day with their big day!
Their big family/friend bounce house party will be next Saturday the 19th. I know they are going to have a ball! I can't wait to see the excitement and amazement in their eyes!
I walked into their playroom this afternoon and saw this! I am really thinking these 2 do not need anymore toys! This disaster area happened in about 20 minutes! Really!?!?

ME challenge - Week 6
After reading this post by Jamie I was inspired to branch out on my Bath and Body purchase. I always buy the same old kinds! Not this time. They were having the buy 3 get 2 free sale, so I used the 2 free for fun choices. My all time favorite is Japanese cherry blossom, so I got 2 of those. Then I got sweet pea which is also pretty good. For the 2 fun smells I went with berry vanilla and Hawaii coconut! The small bottle is the new scent called carried away, so that works great with this cause! It smells good too! The Hawaii coconut reminds me of summer! I can't wait for spring! I did see the 7 day forecast and the 60's are in it! Yea!
Thanks Dolli-Mama! I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Way Back When-esday
First time to link up with Twinfatuation Way Back When-esday, but I am off work for another snow day. This means I have the time to join in the fun! Yea! These are 2 pictures I took exactly 2 years ago. Todd just put together Molly and Luke's B/D presents. This is them trying out Luke's first. Doesn't he looked trilled to be taking his Sissy for a ride?

Sunday Senses
Loving the new button! Thanks Rebecca!
Linking up with Rebecca from Unexplained X2.
Sight - Molly's princess dress up chest dumped out on my bedroom floor. Princess clothes, jewelry and shoes everywhere! Have you ever stepped on a plastic clip-on earring? I have and it hurts!
Hear - Toy story! Molly and Luke love all the Toy Story movies, but I think they love #1 the most! I guess that is tHe truth with all movies...the first is always the best! Why would you watch #2 if it wasn't?
Feel - Tired....didn't sleep good last night! Hate those nights. Hopefully tonight will be better. I so wish I was a nap person, but have never been able to take naps during the day.
Taste - Chocolate milk! Don't worry it't skim milk with fat free syrup! Does that make it any better for me? Probably not, but it sounds good in my head!
Smell - Christmas time. Still haven't changed the smell in my scenty pot. Oh well, maybe I will get a spring smell soon. Yes, I am so ready for sunny afternoons. It got up to 46 yesterday, so a lot of that white stuff melted. So very happy! Hopefully the weathermen are wrong about us getting more next week! Although, I do agree with everyone about the snow pictures...they really are really the best!
