Happy Halloween!!!!!

I had the intentions of making a big Halloween post, but my pictures aren't uploading off my camera.....maybe later today. I still wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween. This is a picture taken with my phone at work on Friday. Every year my employer has a huge Halloween party to raise money for United Way. These two beautiful ladies are in my group. Brandi is the Lady Bug, Sarah is the butterfly (her husband made those wings!!) and I was a Bumble bee with the broken ankle! Brandi made mine and her shirts! I think she did great job! I hope you and yours had a fantastic Halloween!

Sneak Peek - Halloween Costumes

Molly - Alice in Wonderland

Luke - The Mad Hatter
The pair!!! :)
Molly and Luke got to do a mock trick or treat session yesterday. My in-laws are going to be out of town this weekend, so we had to go see them before they left. We are planning on going to Haunt the Zoo Wednesday night. They are so much fun this year! I love it! More Halloween fun to come.

Update on Sandy

Thanks for all your prayers concerning Sandy and her sweet baby boy. I wanted to share what her best friend put on her Facebook page. It is too true not to share.

Sandy's best friend, Randi posted this on facebook today: "Zach and Sandy got word today that Kelvin's organ donation was a complete success and several babies have a second chance at healthy lives thanks to him. Joy in tragedy is difficult but for these little lives we praise God."

They gave the baby the name Kelvin Edgar Cole.  Ken and Calvin are the grandfather's names.

Please continue to keep them in your prayers and thoughts. I can not even imagine the kind of hurt they are experiencing.

In other news- I wanted to give an update on my ankle. I went to the doctor the following Monday which was 2 Mondays ago and found out I actually broke it. Thank goodness the bone has stayed aligned,so i get to wear a walking boot instead of a cast. Lucky me! Anyways that probably will explain my lack of posts and comments. I really haven't been in the mood lately. I have been keeping up with everyone's posts. I hope everyone has a wonderful fall weekend and great week full of Halloween fun.

Prayer Request

I just received some very bad news. My cousin Sandy just lost her baby today. It was very unexpected and happened right after the birth. She was 4 days away from her due date. She was waiting to find out the sex of the baby......she had a baby boy. She and her husband made the decision to give the gift of life. They donated the baby's organs, so another family will not go through the heartbreak they are experiencing at this very moment. I am beyond sad for them. Please keep them and my family in your prayers.

Pumpkin Patch

1st stop was the petting area. Molly & Luke loved the horse!
Then the goats come over for some loving too!
The cow liked Luke!
Out of order, but here is the picture of us before we left.

Of course they loved the bale of hay slide.

The tire swings were a hit.

Luke was going a hundred miles an hour.
My handsome boy !

My pretty girl!

Then it happened. I tried to step over a hay bale to catch Luke and I rolled my ankle. The pain was so bad it took me the ground. Our fun was over in a blink of a eye. Mommy felt very stupid and embarrassed at the same time. The picture below was a hour after it happened so you can only see the swelling. Today it is black and blue. Not fun at all.

Sea World (2nd Trip)

Yes...Our first stop at Sea World was the play ground. We needed Molly and Luke to run off energy before we could expect them to sit through any shows.

Molly playing the drums like Brobee from Yo Gabba Gabba.

Molly had to have a picture with Shamu. She has not stopped talking about him since our trip in April. This is a girl that has to warm up to family members, but will run up to Shamu and give him kisses and hugs.

More Hugs!!

More Kisses!!

Finally Shamu had enough and tried to eat her!! It was so funny! I know that sounds odd, but Shamu was just teasing. He started laughing afterwards like Santa Claus. Too Sweet!

Trying on their shades they got in a Sonic wacky pack at the hotel.

Finally at the end of the day we had to have some frozen lemonade. It was yummy!!!

This past weekend my Mom (aka Nannie) took a girls (sorry Luke) shopping trip to San Marcos, TX. There are 2 fantastic outlet malls (Prime and Tanger) right next to each other there. Sea World/San Antonio is only an hour away from San Marcos, so of coarse I couldn't resist taking Molly and Luke back. We had a fun filled weekend. The kids did great on the 7 hour drive there and from. The only issue was Luke threw up on the trip there and Molly threw up on the trip home. Thank goodness Mommy packed Clorox wipes and paper towels. They did awesome the 2 days we spent shopping. I was really proud of them. I think it will be a yearly girls trip. I know at some point Luke will want to stay home with Daddy, but I hope not. Time will tell.

Really Luke?!?!?

This is how you are going to repay me for taking you to Sea World this past weekend?!?!
I will post about the good time we had later.
