I have been married to my highschool sweetheart for 14 years. We were blessed with the birth our daughter and son on February 15th 2008. They were born 12 weeks early, but came into this world as fighters. This is the story of us being the best Mom and Dad we know how to be and raising 2 amazing children.
Luke saying CHEESE, as soon as he realized I was taking his picture. Molly sharing the drink with her Bubby.
Poor Bubba had a battle with the DVD player and it won. He pulled it off the T.V. right on to the corner of his eye. Poor baby. I am sure it hurt like crazy!
I wonder how many more pictures I can take of them kissing. I am sure they are coming to an end the older they get.
Pretty Sissy!
I took the kids to Kohl's and Sam's this morning. They love getting out and about. I really have nothing exciting to report about this week. It was a rather calm and smooth week for the May's household. Todd and I are going to take the kids on a short weekend trip for the long 4th of July weekend. I hope everyone has a great week and Holiday.
Thank you so much for all you do for us. You are the best Daddy! We wish you were home today. We will still celebrate the best Daddy in the whole wide world today. We love you so very much! See you tomorrow. Molly and Luke
Dear Grandpa, Granddad and Papa,
We want to wish you a very Happy Fathers day too. We love you bunches and bunches! Molly and Luke
When will I learn not to leave stuff on the counter? This is what I walked in on this morning. They had gotten the box of Raisin Bran off the counter and made sure they spread it across the kitchen floor. I told them I had to clean it up, so Molly got her sweeper to help Mom out. Wasn't that sweet of her. I am pretty sure this was the master mind of my sweet little boy, but I caught them both playing in it. It was a brand new box, so you can imagine how long it took to clean it up. Not only was it in the kitchen they decided to take hand fulls to different parts of the house.
You know what sucks about being infertile and developing preeclampsia after 2 rounds of IVF? Realizing your babies are growing up and you probably won't have another one. It made me cry today. Thank you God for blessing me with Molly and Luke. Please help take the bitterness away. Amen!
We let the kids play out in the sprinkler on Saturday. They had a blast. They kept saying wet, wet, wet over and over. It was pretty cute. We have our first cold of the summer. I think it hit me the worst. The kids ran temperature for a couple of days, but it seems all is well now. We just have a little congestion, runny nose and a cough. Hopefully by next weekend it will have left our house.
Todd and I now know not to let Luke in the office. He found the paper shredder and had a blast spreading it all over the house. We were picking up paper for days.
